Family, Stories, Travel

Looking at these pictures I remember how perfect this afternoon was. The sun was setting over The Pass and the whole ocean was awash with gold. All I could see in the distance was the silhouette of Kim paddling like a demon riding a decent size wave with her son Arlo sitting on the front of her paddle board. My first thought was god damn I hope Steve is getting that shot and then I stood in awe wanting to be her, wanting to do that with my son. Besides the small fact that shark alley had just opened up with the onset of dusk their she surfed. No fear, no doubts just confident, strong, and completely free. Even watching from the shore I could tell her and Arlo were connected by that indescribable feeling that comes with riding a wave. They were truly happy. With gusto Kim, Steven and their boys Noah, Hunter and Arlo have set out like Modern day Robinson Crusoe’s into the school of life. Bon voyage my friends may you find adventure and inspiration wherever the wind may take you. Be safe and we will see you very soon.
